Co-inventor and co-developer of the Osteoprobe bone diagnostic instrument. Developed the firmware and user interface software for the instrument in C, Java, and Python. The Osteoprobe is currently being used in preliminary trials at the Mayo Clinic and at the Hospital Del Mar in Barcelona, among other internationally recognized medical facilities.

The technology has since been transferred from UC Santa Barbara to Active Life Scientific.
