Created the control and monitoring software for a linear motor used as an earthquake shake table. We were investigating the application of biologically inspired actuators for building stabilization in a 3 story model building. The computer interface software was written in LabView, and could send arbitrary base excitation waveforms, including recordings of real seismic data, to the table. Additionally it monitored and recorded signals from the 4 accelerometers and 4 displacement sensors mounted on each floor.
